MORNINGTON PENINSULA WINE EVENTS

Each year there are a number of outstanding wine events on the Mornington Peninsula.

These include:

THE MORNINGTON PENINSULA INTERNATIONAL PINOT NOIR CELEBRATION

Held every 2 years, this internationally renowned event includes 2 days of Pinot Noir tasting events, lunches and dinners at renowned Mornington Peninsula vineyards and an exciting program of wine making events and activities.

The next Pinot Noir Celebration is take place on the first weekend of February 2017.

MORNINGTON PENINSULA WINTER WINE WEEKEND

Taking place each year on the Queens Birthday long weekend in June this is one of the highlights of the Mornington Peninsula wine calendar each year.

The Winterwine Fest, a ticketed event at the Red Hill showgrounds, showcases over 200 premium wines from more than 50 wineries across the Peninsula. This fabulous day is complimented by range of Cellar door activities and events which take place across the weekend.

The 2016 brochure will be available from late March 2016 and each ticket includes a complimentary Riedel tasting glass, all wine tastings, a tasting book and 2 entrée sized dishes. PENINSULA PIERS & PINOTS

The Flinders Foreshore hosts this fabulous event on the Sunday of each Labor Day Weekend in March from 12 noon – 3.00pm.

In excess of 20 Mornington Peninsula producers gather by the sea to showcase a range of Pinots and local fine food and music complement this great day.

Each ticket includes a complimentary Riedel tasting glass, tasting notes and all wine tasting. Wines are available for purchase, either by the bottle or the glass – the perfect accompaniment for a picnic lunch by the sea.

MORNINGTON PENINSULA VIGNERONS WINE SHOW

Taking place each October, the MPVA Wine Show is a regional wine show which aims to support excellence in the local wine industry. Only in its second year, the objective is to show only Mornington Peninsula wines within a system which the Australian wine industry recognises thereby contributing to the integrity and growing reputation of the Mornington Peninsula wine region.

The show features a tasting of all wines entered and the MPVA Wine Show Presentation Lunch which showcases a selection of the most highly awarded wines.
